Understanding Final Resource

A final resource is always ready for use as a subject resource but is not always actually used as one: it may instead function as an input, as with a house undergoing renovation, a car being repaired, or a laptop being sold, all of which are final resources treated as inputs (and later outputs) rather than subject resources in that transaction. So subject resources are always final resources, but final resources are not always subject resources. When paired with a Constituent Resource Locus, the Final Resource Locus describes the final resource that the constituent resource is incorporated or transformed into.
